The Church of St. Timothy offers comprehensive K-8 religious education. The school year begins in September and ends in May. The K-8 classes are held Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:20 a.m. and Mondays from 4:00-5:15 p.m. in the lower level parish center. Registrations for the next year begin in July with forms that are available at the Church.
The fees are as follows: one child = $80.00;
two children = $120.00;
three or more children = $140.00.
An additional $40.00 is required for children in the second year of preparation for First Communion.
There is also a $20.00 fee for non-parishioners who make use of our program. Financial difficulty should never be an impediment for St. Timothy parishioners. Please contact the Director of Religious Education 760-489-0482 in cases of financial difficulty.
The Sunday morning sessions include monthly Family Catechesis, when parents are expected to join their children for inter-generational faith formation.
First Communions: St. Timothy requires at least two years of Religious Education prior to children being admitted to first communion. Usually children receive first communion in 2nd grade, which requires that they be registered and participate in the program at the 1st grade level.
